In preparation for the New Orleans premiere of Antebellum, the NYC cast recently completed a rehearsal intensive in Toronto to finalize the vocal musical elements of the production.  The show is complete!

Exciting news!
Another one of the new plays currently in development by GOGOL ANNEX was just invited to premiere in NYC in January 2014.  Alva & Co. will premiere in January 2014 at the Metropolitan Playhouse, as part of the 2014 Gilded Age Festival.

Alva & Co. is an immersive theatre experience that explores the diabolical social ambition and ultimate rebellion of a Vanderbilt heiress and her mother in the dazzling spectacle of the Gilded Age in New York City.
Embracing the shrewd and diabolical ambition that is emblematic of the era, Alva & Co. is a biographical portrait of self-reinvention in the Gilded Age. The immersive theatre experience explores the diabolical social ambition and ultimate rebellion of the era through the historical theatrical device of the tableau vivant.

We were so thrilled to receive the news today that our newest production entitled Antebellum has been selected as one of the curated showcase performances at the New Orleans International Fringe Festival!  

The collaborative installation performance is a wickedly delicious of the notorious and famed in pre-Civil War era new Orleans.  Antebellum has been invited by the Festival to premiere in New Orleans in late November.
